Banko Gotiti is located at 1980 MASL, closer to Gedeb Town in Gedeo, bordering Guji towards the south. Banko is well known for its intense floral and stone fruit-driven character coffees. This specific station buys cherries from approximately 783 farmers all located in the area. Their farms are on average 2 hectares in size and sit between 1950-2100 MASL. The station is owned by a supplier called Ranger.
Natural processed coffee at Banko Gotiti station starts with meticulously hand-picked red cherries, and then they put the cherries on drying tables immediately after. This coffee consists of two varietals; Kurume and Wolisho. It has a texture that reminds us of Rambutan, with a delicate sweetness of Nectarine and retronasal sensation of kaffir lime leaves.
